Cardinal Carlo Maria Martini has publicly backed the use of condoms among married couples to prevent AIDS transmission. This weekend, the BBC reported that Cardinal Martini, one of the Church's most distinguished cardinals, said that in couples where one had HIV/AIDS, which could pass to the partner, the use of condoms was "a lesser evil". I Say: HUH..TOO LITTLE TOO LATE!!
The middle aged Christian Politburo, which runs many hospitals and institutions to help AIDS victims, opposes the use of condoms and teaches that fidelity within heterosexual marriage, chastity and abstinence are the best way to stop the spread of AIDS. Pope was unavailable for comment but adviced to put ice cubes in them to keep the swelling down.

Hey DA! We're in tune as I just posted on the same item (without such a humourous photo though).
As the Monty Python song goes (in The Meaning of Life) - "Every sperm is sacred!"
There is a vaccine in the works to prevent some types of cervical cancer which are sometimes linked to sexual activity.
The extremists are rising up in opposition. It might encourage promiscuity, they say..
The country makes the same arguments about condoms and STD (including HIV or course).
Why is dead (including all the dead children due to AIDS) better?
