Nice pix! Hard to imagine non-smoking bars in the UK.

I side with Haider - non smoking bars are like pools without water...

I would compare a non-smoking bar with a swimming pool without screaming antisocial kids throwing footballs around :-))

A non-smoking bar. That would be wonderful...

Lovely photos. Have a great time. Enjoy a nice pint for all of us!

Dimitri, you just made my day! I LOVE that lovely old architecture. Thank you for another trip by proxy.

Or as my son once said: "A non-smoking section in a bar is like a non-pissing section in a pool."

Had to find a place for that one!

I heard a rumour your THE OXFORD UNION bar is soon to be re introduced to the traditional haze of blue smoke, familiar to the Dutch cafĂ© society once your motion to re-introduce smoking on the ground floor of the building is passed whilst you’re on study leave to this hallowed institution. I understand desperate smokers are frequenting the upper echelons of the Gladstone and Morris rooms where you’re preparing your papers. Great photos of a magical place!

Oxford is beautiful and quite inspiring. I felt like going for higher learning when I was there.

I would love a non-smoking bar!!! Well, actually all bars in NY are non-smoking now, but in Europe! That's almost unheard of.
